FAQ's

DO YOU HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOUR SUSSEX GRAZING CATERER? IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE ANSWER HERE, THEN CONTACT US HERE AND ASK US ANYTHING.

What is a Grazing Table?

A Grazing Table is basically a buffet on steroids! We take the boring beige buffet of old and transform it into a bright and colourful work of art that just happens to be laden with delicious food. If you are looking to pimp your cold buffet then a Grazing Table is the way to go. Our Showstopper Table still has the buffet classics such as homemade sausage rolls and scotch eggs but we also use the finest Italian and Spanish cured meats, English, French and Spanish cheeses and a whole host of other mouthwatering goodies so there really is something for everyone. It's party food but not as you know it!

What type of party can I book a Graze for?

You can book a Graze for literally any type of celebration. We regularly cater Weddings, Engagements, Christenings, Wakes, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Hen Parties, Corporate Breakfasts, Client Meetings, Staff or Office Parties, Christmas Parties and Kids Parties. All of these life events can be catered with our Grazing Boxes, Grazing Platters or Grazing Tables.

Are Grazes suitable for a wedding?

Absolutely! We have catered all types of weddings from boho weddings in big hat tipis, rustic weddings in barns to elegant weddings in beautiful manor houses you name it we have catered it.

We have been asked to produce wedding Grazing Tables as the main meal and also as the evening food. We have done wedding Grazing Platters that line the centre of the tables as starters and also our Luxe Platters have been used as main courses as they showcase some wonderful Sussex produce. If for an evening snack you don't want the expense of a large Grazing Table then our Grazing Cups are the ideal, cost effective way to feed your guests again. In 2021 we were asked to cater a lot of "day after the wedding Grazes" and this trend has continued ever since. It's a really lovely way to get all of your guests together one last time before everyone heads home.

Wedding catering is definitely something we do so get in touch to discuss your big day and how we can play a part in it.

Do you offer Grazes for special days/ holidays?

Can you accommodate people with dietary requirements or allergies?

Please let us know if you or any of your guests have any dietary requirements or allergies well in advance and we will cater accordingly. Please note that we work from a kitchen that isn't allergen free so whilst every endeavour will be made to cater for your requirements we can not guarantee that there will not be traces of allergens found.

How do you keep the food fresh?

We keep all food cool during travel to the venue in our refrigerated van (she's called Betsy BTW!)

Table(s) must be provided in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Food on the Grazing Tables or Platters can be left out for up to 4 hours at room temperature after which time it must be disposed of. If it is a particularly hot day this time will need to be reduced.

Do you provide tables or tablecloths?

No we do not supply tables, a suitable table/surface must be provided at the venue. For our Showstopper Table we place everything on food safe grease proof brown paper directly on the table so a tablecloth is not needed however if you have an antique table or a family heirloom we would suggest covering it with something extra before we arrive as a precaution. The Platters all come on recyclable wooden boards.

Do you supply plates, cutlery and napkins?

We do not supply these as standard but wooden cutlery, compostable palm leaf plates, mini bamboo serving tongs and white paper napkins can be provided at an extra cost. All the details and prices can be found at the bottom of The Grazing Boxes, Platters and Cups page.

How long do you need to set up?

If you have booked a Showstopper Table we will need 1-3 hours to get your table set up, styled and ready for your guests, depending on the size of your Graze.

Platter Boards are already styled and ready to be eaten straight away.

Do you clean up and dispose of food after the event?

We are not responsible for the removal and disposal of food waste. You must ensure that all of our equipment from a Showstopper Table or Breakfast Graze is cleaned and free of food debris before we arrive to collect it.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured. We also have current food hygiene and health and safety training and a 5 Star National Food Hygiene rating from Adur and Worthing Councils.

Do you require onsite parking?

We require parking at the venue to unload everything. If there is no or limited parking, please let us know immediately and we will try and find a solution.

Where are you based and which areas do you cover?

We are based on the South Coast in Worthing, West Sussex which is just along the coast from the popular seaside town of Brighton.

Click here to see our location.

We do not usually deliver the smaller Grazing Boxes or Platter Boards, they are collection from Worthing however if you do require delivery please get in touch and provide us your postcode for a quote and to check availability. For Showstopper Tables we deliver these free of charge in the local Worthing area. Outside of this please contact us for a quote. If a Showstopper Table was booked and an overnight stay was needed for us to bring back all the equipment the following day then a suitable hotel room close to the venue would need to be provided by you.

If you are outside of our free area and are booking one of our Showstopper Tables or a Breakfast Graze using our equipment then you are expected to return everything to us in Worthing the next day or alternatively we can come and collect everything from you but you will have to pay a collection charge.
